Girls Ministries
All girls ages 3 & up are welcome to attend the National Girls Ministries program at our church. Classes are on Friday nights from 7:00-9:00 PM from September through May in the Chapel's lower level classrooms. For more info please visit the Lighthouse Tabernacle Girls Ministries website.
Royal Rangers
All boys ages 3 & up are welcome to attend the National Royal Rangers program at our church.
Classes are on Friday nights from 7:30-9:00 PM from September through May in the upper level classrooms. (Ages 3 & 4 have class in the Chapel.)
Boys enjoy spiritual lessons and discipleship along with many hands-on activities that they enjoy -
led by Long Island District Commander Brian Miller.
Royal Rangers is an international boy's ministry designed to help boys grow spiritually, socially, physically, and emotionally by combining camping and survival skills with a knowledge of the Bible. Royal Rangers was started in 1962 and has reached more than 1 million boys with the Gospel. The ministry is currently being used in more than 76 countries worldwide.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning during both worship services, we have classes for children ages 2 through 18. We also have a nursery for babies 24 months and younger. Children begin the service in the main sanctuary and then go to their classes during the preaching. Our classes are taught by dedicated teachers who have a desire to share the Word of God with young people. Each session lasts approximately forty minutes during which time they receive a lesson and do activity pages with their teacher. We want to be sure that they "remember their Creator in the days of their youth."
Kids Krusade
This is our summer outreach to children and young teens. The evening consists of singing, skits, puppet shows, crafts, refreshments and more. Through the years we have had many Bible stories come to life which has made a great impact on these young lives. On the final evening, many parents come to enjoy the evening with their children. We have a wonderful closing night with balloons, ice cream, and other refreshments.
